I have been in education for almost 20 years as an elementary school teacher, and an assistant principal of a public elementary school for 10 years in BCPS, MD.  In that time, I was the IEP and SST Chair, instructional leader and had a multitude of other responsibilities.  Since then, I have moved to FL and currently work as a Lead Title I Teacher, as well as a tutor and Professional Development Facilitator.

Additionally, I am an internationally recognized author who has written the following books: "Navigating the Road of Infertility," "Roadmap to Navigating Your Child's Disability," "Baby Bankrupt," "Benny Gator", "Angry Ana", and "Catspergers."

I have a Bacherlor's Degree and Masters Degree in Education, as well as Special Education certification.
